Should
we bring our own helmets? Will you give us a lock?
The Carmel and
Allez rentals are available with a helmet. For all
other bike rentals listed (we recommend that you
bring your own helmet). We also have helmets available
for purchase. Included in the rental is one water
bottle cage, tire pump, underseat bag w/tube, tire
irons, and allen key to adjust saddle height. A
limited amount of basic locks are available upon
request at time of rental. However, we do recommend
that you take the bike(s) in your hotel room if
renting overnight. |
I
want to bring my own pedals. Can you put them on for
me?
All rental bikes are available with flat
plastic or toe strap pedals. We also carry a limited
quantity of clip-in pedals. Please confirm availability
at time of rental. If you've brought your own pedal
system with you we will install them and adjust the
saddle height at no extra charge. |
Can we
rent racks to haul our bikes on our vacation?
We have the Hollywood F1B rack available. The
F1B is user friendly and fits most cars. The
rack will hold up to 3 bicycles. The Bike Shop is
not responsible for improper installation. Some newer
vehicles may not be compatible with the F1B rack. All rental bikes come with quick release wheels. The
wheels can be taken off easily if space is an issue
or a rack won't work. |
I
am the worst with maps. How do I know where to ride,
can someone explain the ride to me before I leave?
If you need a map to help plan out your
rides we have FREE Department of Transportation
bike route maps available with your rental. Do let
us know if you need a map. We will do our best to
make sure you know the route before departure, no
need to worry. |
