Full-Suspension

Bullet-proof, time-proven suspension at an unbeatable price. People say you have to spend a hell of a lot of cash to buy a full-suspension bike. Or at least a full-suspension bike that truly performs. They’re usually right. Usually. But not this time around. The Atroz proves them wrong with four inches of reliable coil-sprung rear suspension that nicely smooths out the trail. Since you’ll need to climb to the top of the mountain, we’ve also given the Atroz a 18-speed Shimano drivetrain, and when it’s time to head back down, you’ll find the Suntour XCM suspension fork and Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes keep you firmly in control of the descents. - Hand-built 4-inch travel aluminum alloy full-suspension frame is super strong - Optimized single pivot with sealed cartridge bearings for smooth, durable performance - 18 gears courtesy of Shimano 2x9 drivetrain - SR Suntour XCM fork with 120mm of suspension travel - Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes w/ 180/160mm rotors - 27.5” wheels offer quick handling
Reliable, affordable, and capable of nearly erasing roots and rocks. We love hardtails, but there's no denying the benefits of full-suspension mountain bikes—the added comfort and control. Unfortunately, dualies often add another thing: more dollar signs to the price tag. That's not the case here. The Atroz utilizes sealed cartridge bearings in an understated single-pivot design to deliver smooth, durable performance. The Atroz 2 ups the ante with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, Suntour air-sprung rear suspension and an easy-to-operate single-ring drivetrain—features you usually find on bikes with a whole lot more dollar signs on their price tags.
A durable design and the latest innovations, all in a single package. With the Atroz 3, we took the proven and refined single-pivot full-suspension design and upped the ante in a big way. It's a full RockShox affair when it comes to suspension, including the five-inch-travel Recon RL air-sprung fork with 32mm stanchions and a thru-axle. Likewise, we outfitted this model with SRAM's SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain—all the simplicity and durability of a single-ring drivetrain, with the low gearing you once needed a front derailleur to obtain. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, and we finished the bike off with a Race Face Chester bar and stem combo.
The Release 29 1 is a big-wheeled ripper made for long days and big lines. This aluminum 29er is built on the same 130mm-travel Level Link suspension platform as its smaller-wheeled siblings. We've adjusted the geometry for 29-inch wheels while keeping the same playful attitude of all our Level Link bikes. An SR Suntour Aion suspension fork and a Suntour Edge R rear shock soak up the rough stuff, while SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain components keep you cranking. Our Blanchard wheelset is tubeless compatible and comes with 2.3-inch-wide WTB Vigilante Comp tires for unwavering traction. When it's time to slow down, TRP Slate X2 hydraulic disc brakes keep you on your line all the way down the mountain.
The Release 29 2 is the lankier sibling of the Release and Catch full-suspension mountain bikes. Designed for high-mileage days with a high shred factor, this aluminum trail ripper is built on the same 130mm-travel Level Link suspension platform as its smaller-wheeled siblings. We've adjusted the geometry for 29-inch wheels while keeping the same playful attitude that our Level Link bikes have become known for. The Fox Float DPS Performance shock is outfitted with an EVOL LV air sleeve for excellent responsiveness and a bottomless feel to soak up the worst on steep, technical terrain. A 140mm travel Fox Rhythm 34 fork, Shimano SLX drivetrain, and hydraulic stoppers let you stay focused, no matter what the trail dishes out.

Don't worry, S-Works doesn't get to have all of the fun—the new Stumpjumper Comp Carbon 27.5 features the same frame with a full 11m carbon chassis and rear-end as its older brother, but with a solid list of no-fuss components, including a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed groupset, for an everyman's budget. Our design goal for the new Stumpjumper was simple—build the ultimate trail bike, one that feels telepathic. And it turns out that this feeling all comes down to stiffness. Think of it this way: when the frame's telling your hands one thing and your feet another, your brain gets confused with the imbalance and the bike feels unstable. In order to fix this, we had to get to work on dialing-in the materials, shapes, and the layout. We started by creating our own mountain-specific stiffness test, and then we looked at the layout with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to see where we could get the biggest stiffness improvements. This led to a big discovery: The Large and X-Large frames needed more front-end stiffness while the Smalls and Mediums were just fine. We were able to create a frame design that was 20% more efficient. And in the end, this proved to be one of the lightest trail frames on the market today. When designing the frame with the stiffness targets being a main goal, we developed a radical new sidearm design. The front-end and rear-end are connected at three points, and the sidearm helps keep all these points super stiff and connected, all while taking about 100 grams out of the rear-end. More explicitly, this minimizes frame flex when the rear suspension is active. We continued down the suspension path with a custom Rx Trail Tune on both the fork and rear shock. Suspension performance is highly dependent on frame, wheel, and rider size, so we use our Rx Tune to get each bike to land in the middle of the adjustment spectrum, and this gives you the biggest possible range to fine-tune your ride. Another focal point of the tune was matching the suspension characteristics between wheel sizes—we developed a specific Rx Tune for each platform. So, no matter what wheel size you prefer, you'll get perfectly linear suspension. Steps were also taken to make this bike easy to live with. Threaded bottom brackets make a triumphant return, and we made room for up to a 3.0" tire. You're also free to run whatever aftermarket rear shock you want since we're using standard metric shocks. We revamped the SWAT box, too, making it sleeker, lighter, and with more volume. And customization is furthered with a Flip Chip that lets you to dial-in your Stumpy to your riding style. Switch it from High to Low and it drops your bottom bracket 6mm and slackens the head tube by half-a-degree. Little details also jump out to surprise you, like a newly designed ribbed chainstay protector that makes chain slap a thing of the past and nearly silences the drivetrain. Lastly, we seriously couldn't make cable routing any easier on carbon models. Full tubes can be found throughout the carbon frame, so all you have to do is push the cable and it'll come out the other end. No more lazy loop, hidden stashes of magnets, pokey spokes, or pillows to cry in. The build on this Comp model comes with a list of components that deliver undeniable quality, like a 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain, SRAM Guide R disc brakes, FOX front and rear suspension, and Roval Traverse 27.5 wheels. - The Stumpjumper's asymmetrical, FACT 11m carbon fiber construction is lightweight, stiff, and ready to take on the trail. It's built off our 27.5 Trail Geometry, so it's just the right amount of both capable and comfortable. And with SWAT integration in the down tube, a threaded BB, easy cable routing, and an all-new chain silencer, it's ready for anything the trail, or you, throw at it. - The FOX DPS Performance rear shock features our Rx Trail Tune, ensuring that no matter the wheel or frame size, your bike is dialed-in perfectly. - SRAM's 12-speed NX Eagle groupset features a wide gear range that delivers climbing and descending efficiency in spades.
With the same 11m carbon construction as the S-Works, the Stumpjumper ST Comp Carbon 29 with 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle brings you transcendent handling, custom-tuned suspension, and an elimination of proprietary headaches—all while keeping the speed you look for with 29-inch wheels. And don't forget that with its "ST" distinction, this Stumpjumper gets slightly steeper angles and less suspension (130mm front/120mm rear), so you get more nimble and responsive climbing ability and sublime descending prowess. Unrivaled suspension kinematics, sublime handling, perfectly-tuned frame stiffness—the Stumpjumper Comp is our fully featured, fully affordable, full-carbon, definitive trail bike. All-new geometry, all-new suspension, thoughtfully spec'd—it's ready to take you wherever the trail may lead. THE TRAIL BENCHMARK- When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone's riding, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper. THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU'LL EVER RIDE- We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor. PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY- The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It's long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you're able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose. RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™- Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you're a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you'll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock). SWAT™- When we introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased pocket space, and added room for those "oh s**t" pumps and flat accessories. With the new Stumpjumper, we've kept those same design hallmarks that you know and love.

Total control, unparalleled bump-eating suspension, and fine-tunable geometry are hallmarks of the all-new Stumpjumper EVO Expert. Top it off with a build that blends quality, affordability, and durability, and it's the perfect trail partner, no matter where those trails are, or how rowdy they get. - All the travel in the world is useless without the proper shock tuning and kinematics. For the new Stumpjumper EVO design, we prioritized kinematic performance. Applying lessons learned while developing the Enduro, then following that with more than 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, we've not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but we've made it more capable, agile, and lively. We increased anti-squat, so the suspension better resists pedal bob, and we further improved bump performance on square-edge hits. Bottom line? This thing shreds trails, not legs. - The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is our most progressive yet. Long, low, slack, short offset fork, steeper seat tube angle—these are requirements for modern progressive riding. But not everyone jibs the same way, which is why the geo on the new Stumpjumper EVO is fully adjustable with six different settings. You can adjust the BB height by 10mm, you can adjust your head angle by two degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other. Finally, if you want to go full-party mullet-mode, the EVO lets you run a 27.5-inch rear wheel mated with a 29-inch front. - Rider-First Engineered frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensure benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you're a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you'll experience the same ride traits—rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness—at the lightest possible weight. - We introduced the SWAT door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room IN your frame for those "oh sh**t" necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant. With the new Stumpjumper, we have increased the volume and added a SWAT Bladder, giving you an extra 22oz of water storage—the same size as a small water bottle—hidden in your downtube.
